It’s hard to believe I was 51 lbs heavier a year ago today. Back then, I was stout and heavy—being tall helped hide it, but you could still tell. I took GLP-1 (also known as Ozempic) for a few months to jumpstart my weight loss. Along with it, I got a cute pale pink 🩷 treadmill and made it a habit to walk every day while eating super healthy, home-cooked meals—lots of fish, rice, and greens, especially okra (which is slimy but great for gut health and your insides overall) and drinking collagen fruit smoothies everyday. Most of my weight loss happened within the first four months, and after that, I just focused on maintaining it. Over the last couple of months, I’ve continued losing weight, but at a slower pace.
Now, my limbs look like delicate twigs. |
