Just kidding! I got lip blushing done!

For those who don’t know, lip blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural color and shape of your lips. Unlike traditional lip tattoos, which can look harsh, lip blushing creates a soft, natural tint that fades beautifully over time.

My own lips were naturally two-toned, which made them look smaller than they actually were. After the lip blushing, they were able to color my full lip line (though I noticed the very edge at the top wasn’t done). Because of that, my lips now look much bigger and more plump—without any fillers! I think the woman doing my lip blushing purposely didn’t outline the very top because it would have made my lips look even bigger, maybe too much so.

This experience made me realize that my lips weren’t actually small—they just needed the blushing. I had filler done before, but I didn’t like the result because my lips were still two-toned. I assumed my lips just weren’t that big, but that wasn’t the case at all! Now that the color is even, my actual lip shape is fully visible, and I love how they look. They are so plump and juicy. 🥹🩷

In the photo, my lips look a little intense—almost like I got beaten up, with blood all over my mouth lol ❤️‍🩹—but that’s just how they look in the beginning. Over the next few weeks, the color will soften into a pretty, natural pink.
