First and foremost! Happy Lunar New Year! Moemi and I ran some errands today because today is our last day in this area. We move to East Tokyo tomorrow. After we were finished with our errands we had a quick bite to eat at the Italian family restaurant in the neighborhood and I don't know what's wrong with my body but I wasn't hungry at all and neither was Moemi. I felt so ashamed because we didn't finish our dishes and Japan doesn't have a "take home food you didn't finish" culture so we left with a big plate of spaghetti. I hate wasting food, but I really couldn't finish it. Instead I was craving going outside and running a marathon. I've been losing a lot of weight recently, which I'm happy about but I don't like the sudden and random change in appetite.

By the way, this blog is much better to look at on desktop view. 

Tomorrow is the big day! That's when my lawyer goes to immigration to submit my paperwork! I'm nervous but he said I have nothing to worry about because Moemi is a Japanese citizen and I'm her mother so I have every right to be here. It's just that, if I do get this visa, that means I finally reached one of my bigger goals, which is super scary but also super wonderful. 

My friend told me he was proud of me the other day and it made me feel so good. I think it'll feel even better once I have the residence card in my hands.
