Ichigaya Fishing Center -Persona 5 Location~~Feb 4, 2024

 I finally got to visit the Ichigaya Fishing Center today! I've been wanting to visit since I first played persona 5 and found out it was a real place! You can bring food and drinks so I saw a garbage can with empty beer cans and mini sake bottles. The alcohol  must help keep people warm during the winter. I should also mention, it is fully wheelchair and stroller accessible!

 I bought Moemi with me but she fell asleep in her stroller before we arrived. It wasn't so bad though,  because I got to go carp fishing instead of goldfish fishing, although I didnt catch anything (.__. ;). Though the fish did come up to me on the surface to say hello.

I would like to save the goldfish fishing for when we move into an apartment because they actually allow you to take some home if you catch enough. ^ ^ ( don't worry they don't use hooks for them, just little nets like the ones they use at summer festivals.)

They also sell fish tanks, filters and accessories inside their store. I really want to buy two fish tanks or get one fish tank and a seperator so I can get goldfish and mini puffer fish which they also sell (I think).

Speaking of apartments, I already started hunting. I found 5 apartments that I'm very interested in and they're all in the same ward in Tokyo so the agent should have no problem showing me the different rooms. There is one room that I want more than all the rest of them. The location, the building, the view from the room, the common facilites, everything is exactly what I want. The monthly rent isn't an issue but the move in fees are quite steep. I'm wondering if it's a good idea for my to splurge on this beautiful place or get a less expensive place and focus on building my stock account back to what it was before I left for Japan. That however could either take a few weeks or a few months and I have to leave this airbnb eventually. Especially since the apartment is nearly $600 less expensive than this airbnb and the other 4 choices are even more so. I'm going to wait for the agent to get back to me on the avaliblity of each room.

Edit: the agent got back to me and when I told them I was in the middle of a visa change they stopped correspondence lol. I understand why though, I'm sure they wouldn't want to waste their time if the visa doesn't come through but I still want to move into a place as soon as possible! (.__. ;)

Oh and I don't know if I mentioned it, but I went to the immigration law office a few days ago and I finally met the lawyer I've been conversing with since last year. Once I collect all my documents, I will meet with him again on Thursday and submit everything and pay. Then he will bring everything to immigration on my behalf. Everything is moving quite smoothly, he was very helpful. 

I can't post any pictures of today yet but I will hopefully when I wake up. It's currently 3:38 ^ ^
