I could've made so much money today in the stocks :( But I was distracted because I was cooking lunch. :( I was in a position for a few days and as usual, I only used a small percent of my overall account size but I was growing impatient because there’s another stock I want to jump into and I didn’t want to open any more positions and use any more money (I already had 3 positions) so I just sold EGOX for small profit and took money to the new stock. Remember my last post about being proud of myself for learning stocks? Someone once asked me why I didn't speak Japanese well, considering the time I spent there. It's not an excuse, but there are two reasons. Firstly, I wasn't consistently in Japan to learn, and secondly, I tend to take longer to concentrate and retain information. So when it comes to studying, I can only focus on one thing at a time, though I can multitask a lot better as a mom now (let's just overlook the cooking distraction from the last post that cost me an extra $400 (.___.). In all seriousness, I've been studying stocks since around 2017 when I first learned about day trading. It was challenging to juggle studying Japanese and stocks simultaneously. Before my stock studies, I was engaged to someone who wouldn't speak Japanese no matter what, and practicing with others was tricky because everyone wanted to speak English as soon as I made one mistake in Japanese. The school setting worked for me, so I plan to hire a tutor once I'm back in Japan. While I speak English to my daughter, I hope she'll pick up Japanese in school until I can converse with her in both languages. I’ll do my best moving forward, for her sake. ^ ^ |
