After making my “Moving Plan” recently, I came across some unsettling realizations that have left me feeling down. It's akin to experiencing writer's block when you're an author facing an impending deadline. I've come to understand that relocating to a different country, with all the initial expenses, might not be a significant concern for a single person. However, when you have a child, everything essentially doubles. If I were already residing in that country, with a valid visa and a secured apartment, managing month-to-month expenses wouldn't be an issue. The challenge arises when the one-time costs of getting there result in debt, making it difficult to start anew. Adding further insult to injury, I ended up catching a pretty bad cough. Thankfully I got tested and it’s not Covid but it’s still pretty aggravating. You know how it’s said to ask for help if things start becoming overwhelming for you, but what happens when you ask and no one comes to help? Thankfully my stocks are doing well but that seems to be the only thing going well. Then I came across this today.. |
