Biggish Update! ~~ Sept 9, 2023

I rejoined Facebook for just one day, and it's fascinating how little has changed. It's been about a year since I was last on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, all of which are still deactivated. I logged into Facebook to contact a friend in Japan who could help with my visa.

I had to leave social media to focus on getting my life in order, which was tough. Staying off Social media wasn't tough but getting my life in order was. Freedom is my ultimate goal, and I'm so close; I just need to stay focused.

Leaving social media was also necessary due to my ongoing legal case, which technically concluded last month. We're just waiting for the other party to tie up loose ends.

Moemi is thriving, and I'm still breastfeeding, which has its challenges, but it's fine for me. Many POC mothers commend me for it, considering our history with being able to breast feed our own children.

I often say, "Okay, we're moving now," and months or years pass without progress. However, we've booked hotels in Tokyo, and I'm in the process of paying for our plane tickets. It's official; we're finally moving to Japan permanently.

Our move was supposed to be planned for October, but I hesitate to book plane tickets due to various tasks I need to complete here – sorting documents, managing accounts, and more. On the positive side, I have no more debt, and I can finally breathe!

In addition to managing household responsibilities, I'm busy with trading, studying forex, Moemi, preparing for the move, and studying Japanese. I've had minimal interaction with the opposite sex as well and I'm fearing that I've forgotten how to function around others..

I had permission to move back to Japan in July, but everything was delayed due to planning and decluttering. My room is almost empty now. I'm excited to see my friends in Japan, though I haven't spoken to most people in my life for almost a year.

So to my friends and readers (If I have any), I apologize for my absence. Now that my plans are nearly complete, I hope you won't be too mad and will reconnect with me once everything is settled. This blog is mainly for me, but I appreciate those who have followed my journey.

I'll rejoin social media by the end of this year, and then we'll be on our way to Japan. Bye for now!
