The amount of hard work that went into finally being able to download the original soundtrack to a Japanese drama I just started watching...truly unfathomable. The drama is called "Koisuru Hahatachi" and the English title is "Mother's in Love". The drama itself is quite good (I personally love a good mama drama) but the OST is so wonderful and elegant. My favorite song, which was my sole motivation for opening a Japanese itunes store, was "When She Falls in Love". It's a lovely instrumental with so much feeling that truly lives up to the title. The acoustic's in the beginning reminded me of a nice midnight walk in the summer and the piano gave an impression of small radiant diamonds cascading down on the key's.
One of my favorite hobbies is taking long city walks. I don't feel so safe doing those in America but i'll take these long 5 hour+ walks in Japan and I'm always on the lookout for new music. I personally love instrumentals and I found the best ones are from TV drama OST's. I recommend this drama, especially if you're a mama but I really recommend the soundtrack.
