I finally got back into loom/conventional knitting- and I upgraded from knitting scarfs to making life-sized baby dolls! Back in 2017 I only made scarfs but I decided to challenge myself to make Moemi a doll for Christmas. I bought the yarn on sale at Micheals for only $2 plus tax, but unfortunately because I bought it online, I got the clothes portion of the yarn in the wrong size. However it ended up working out, I just knitted the doll nude by using only the flesh colored yarn. I also forgot to add that I got the knitting pattern from the blog "loomahat.com " Then I decided to use Moemi's old clothes to dress the doll. That way, not only would Moemi have a doll made by her mommy, but she would also have the doll dressed in her old outfits from when she was a baby! Like a keepsake. ♡
