Today I went to the SwallowTail Butler Cafe in Ikebukuro! This is the same butler cafe from the movie "My Geeky Girlfriend" aka "How to Date an Otaku Girl" or the Japanese title- "Fujoshi Kanojo". You can see the movie review I made Here! We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the establishment (we couldn't even take our cellphones out) but we had an amazing time. The food was beautifully prepared, the interior design matched my outfit and the butlers spoke extremely polite Japanese. It was hard for me to understand what they were saying. I wasn't even allowed to pour my own tea 🍵- the swallowtail butler told me -(rough translation) "milady, you may burn your fragile hand on the teapot, please allow me to pour it for you". They were so professional and never broke character! I loved it and now that I'm a member, I plan on going back!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I want to order more dishes and experience different butlers next time! They all looked like anime characters and their hair and makeup was done to near perfection! 👌🏽 ✨We also were given a silver bell to ring whenever we needed assistance. I really did feel like a princess!Afterwards we headed to the Swallowtail gift shop across the street from the cafe and we got the tea that I tried at the cafe, strawberry chocolate. Very delicious! ![]() You have to make reservations 2 weeks in advance, that's how popular it is. You can make reservations at their website, Here!
