I haven't updated my blog in so long- it's certainly been a while. I would say that I need to stop making promises when it comes to blogging or vlogging but that sounds so negative and today, or this whole week in fact, I've been feeling so happy and positive. I actually came back from an onsen (hot springs) in Kawazu Japan. Kawazu is located about 3 hours from Tokyo by train and it's famous for having early-blooming Cherry blossoms! ![]() The flowering period is from late February to early March, whereas in Tokyo, sakura (cherry blossoms) appears from late March to April.During the sakura season in Kawazu, the cherry blossom festival is held. My friend and I stayed in a ryokan about 15 minutes from the cherry blossom festival. Unfortunately we missed the high blooming season and only 40 percent of the sakura was left but we still had a great time! ![]() ![]()
Personally I felt like this trip really pumped me up for spring in Tokyo. I'm so excited to see the cherry blossoms again!

I wanted to share some photos from my trip!
I ate a cricket!!! It tasted like fish!
Wasabi ice cream! So gross, it just tasted like chilled wasabi, super spicy! lol
I have more photos from my friends camera so hopefully I can make a Part 2 for this post.
