Okay so just like my post title says... I paid my tuition yesterday and I'm officially moving to Japan Oct 1!!! The people who are close to me have an understanding of just how HARD it was for me to get into this school. I'll explain some of the obstacles I faced in another post soon. But I can finally breath now. I literally only had 3 days left to pay & I got the payment in just in time. But it was a week ago that I knew I really needed to get serious. This may sound silly- but I taped about 22 hand written motivational quotes to my wall, opposite my bed. I figured waking up to those every morning would force me to get out of bed and realize the situation I was in. They would help motivate me since I didn't have much of a cheer squad anymore. I kinda had to become my own cheerleader. So after a week of hard work, I was able to go with my dad to the bank and wire the rest of my tuition! The school received my receipt & they are currently helping me find accommodation! I ended up paying in full WITHOUT a loan! It was all cash that I earned and it felt great when I made that international wire transfer at the bank. I was grinning from ear to ear and the banker kept commenting on just how happy and excited I looked! I gave the people in that bank so much life from the energy I was releasing lol. BUT I can't say that I reached my goal just yet. I've always been an inconsistent person, I would start something but rarely finish it. Especially when it came to school! So my own test is to see if I can last at least 4 months. If I can continue to go to school after 4 months, I'll know that I really did accomplish a huge goal. As some of my close friends know, I have a few more big time goals to accomplish... At least within a 3 year span. But I'll tackle them one at a time. But I do want to thank my family for being so supportive & Lauren for being the only friend that actually did help me in the process and gave me amazing advice. Not only recently but also a few years back when I wasn't mentally prepared for school in Japan. Thank you so much. I'll keep updating!! Especially as it gets closer to my departure date!
