My brothers birthday was July 22 so this post is a little late but I wanted to share some pictures from his big day. Today is actually my mothers birthday July 31st- but she and my dad are spending 2 weeks in Finland to visit my oldest brother and his family! My sister in law made her a beautiful cake and I may show pictures of that cake a bit later.





Anyway I bought up the idea to my mom to get him a birthday cake with a special theme. The idea was supposed to mimic the birthday party he had when he was 12 years old. He had a beautiful Sonic the Hedge cake! Sonic was his favorite game at the time and he is a pretty big gamer till this day. So we got him a cake this time based after his current favorite game. He is much older now (in his twenty's) but we just wanted to show him that we still love him and wanted to do something special.

So I found a picture, my mother submitted it to the cake bakery and my dad picked it up! Team work!







Also made him a big serving of his favorite dinner! Steak covered in sauteed onions, salted avocados and fried shrimp!
