So ever since Wednesday, March 14, I've been staying with my family at a bed & breakfast near my grandmother's house in Harlem.






 It was my first time seeing my oldest brother P since May of last year, when I visited him & his family in Finland. It was lovely seeing him again. So yesterday my parents, my brother P & I (my other brother was in  Brooklyn visiting a friend) went to Sylvia's a restaurant in Harlem. the food was phenomenal, I ended up having fried white meat chicken & waffles. Not too long after we were finished with our food, my uncle & his son met us at the restaurant. After they grabbed a little something to eat we headed to my grandmothers house. The rest of the immediate family were meeting there to discuss all of the funeral details.






Now the first viewing is today around 4pm but I don't think i'll be attending. I have my own reasons but they are good ones. Nothing against my grandmother whatsoever. I found out we should be leaving NYC tomorrow night after the funeral so I'm actually pretty relieved. The weather back home is in the 70's/80's & that's exactly the weather I needed for this time.

I think I'm really just updating for myself, to keep memory of this week.
