I really don't want to make this a long entry but I do want to say that I was so thankful to know (& be related to) such an amazing person. Going to her funeral, I saw how loved she was & it was a blessing to witness that. 

One of my favorite events during the funeral was when my brother sung "Amazing Grace". He goes to GMU for music theory but he is also in the opera & gets paid to sing. He has a very strong voice & is usually very professional..but during the last verse of the song he broke down in tears which touched the hearts of almost everyone there. One thing he told me before the funeral had officially started, was that he felt bad because my grandparents (when they were alive) asked him to come sing at their church. He was just so busy with school that he didn't have a chance to until now. That's what stung my heart the most.

But after today I realized I shouldn't be mourning over her death but rejoicing that she had such a long wonderful life.... That's all I really wanted to say.
